Al Rajhi Takaful Construction Plant, Machinery and Equipment Plan (CPM)
While CAR and EAR policies are for the building being constructed or a factory being erected, the CPM policy is for covering construction Plant and machinery used at such construction or erection site.
Cranes, bulldozers, compressors, welding machines, portable transformers etc. are examples of items coverable by CPM policy. Equipment moving on their own propulsion also can be covered under this policy, however not when they are on public road.
This policy covers perils incident to a project site like fire, lightning, Riot, Strike and Malicious damage, impact with another item at project site, Acts of God Perils such as Storm tempest flood and inundation, earthquake. Internal electrical and or mechanical breakdowns are not covered by this policy.
